What does a Filler treatment look like?
1: Free intake interview
During an intake interview, you will have the opportunity to meet with one of our physicians. You tell what you come for and what you want to achieve with treatment. After assessing the area(s) to be treated and your overall health, our expert physician will advise you what is best for your situation. Everything regarding treatment and costs will be discussed with you. If you are convinced you can choose to be treated immediately and otherwise you can schedule a follow-up appointment. 2: Formality: photos and forms
You have chosen to receive treatment at Oran Aesthetics. Several photos are always taken beforehand. In addition, you will be given two digital forms to sign. The first is a “health statement” about your health to determine your suitability for treatment and the second is a “consent form.” This is a form with information about the particular Filler treatment including possible side effects and complications.
3: The treatment itself
After the doctor has properly informed you about the treatment, she (or he) always begins by cleaning and disinfecting the area. A filler treatment falls under injectables, meaning that the liquid is administered by injection. Depending on the area to be treated, a cannula may also be used. A filler treatment usually takes between 15-30 minutes depending on the number of areas to be treated.
4: Immediately after treatment
Immediately after treatment, the doctor will give you a special ice pack that you should use to cool the treated area for 15 minutes. A possible side effect of filler treatment may be redness, swelling and bruising in the first few days after treatment. This will go away by itself. Furthermore, we recommend that you do not use cream or makeup for the first hour after treatment. Avoid massages or other kind of pressure on your face for the first few days. And even with a filler treatment, you should not use the sauna or tanning bed for a week. The result of the treatment is immediately visible.
5: Monitoring appointment
Two weeks after treatment, you may come in for a checkup so the doctor can assess the result and answer any questions you may have. Post-photos are also taken and can be compared with the photos taken before the treatment.
